With heavy hearts we made the decision to close the Monstrum 2 servers. We believe it was the right choice, although not the easiest one, for the future of the studio and our community.

 

Monstrum 2 was incredible journey for all of us. However, despite our best efforts to keep the game thriving, we faced ongoing challenges in sustaining the level of support and content that Monstrum 2 deserves. The landscape of online gaming is constantly evolving and maintaining a multiplayer experience that meets the expectations of our players proved increasingly difficult. 

 

We understand many feel disappointment, and we share in that sentiment. However, the experiences and lessons we've gained will guide us as we move forward, creating new worlds for you to explore. 

 

Thank you for being a part of the Monstrum 2 community. Your passion, creativity, and dedication made this game what it was and we are deeply grateful for the time and energy you've invested in it.

We request that fans do not use Monstrum 2 assets or code in any projects. Originally, this was due to server instability and issues surrounding privacy and security of our players. Now that Monstrum 2 is no longer available to purchase or play, we wish to protect our assets for potential future projects and use.
