Released in 2015, Monstrum takes the traditional survival horror formula and remixes it completely with procedurally generated levels, permadeath, and AI driven predators, ensuring that nowhere on its derelict cargo ship is ever truly safe.

Don't Get Lost

Attempt a new layout each time you start again. The ship is filled with traps, environmental hazards, and another passenger in the form of a deadly beast. Best be careful.

Gather Items

With no means to take their pursuer down, the player must search the ship to discover any means of escape. Pick up useful tools and tricks as you progress through the level, using your wits and guile to avoid getting killed.

Escape the Labyrinth

Combining permadeath, a variety of different hunters and a procedurally generated ship that changes its layout every time, who knows what you'll find lurking within?

“The terror is smarter than you. The terror is better than you. But you are going to do everything you can to fight it and escape.
Steam Community Reviews, #02

“The atmosphere, setting and premise are fantastic, and the use of procedurally generated interiors constrained within a static structure with some consistent features works very well in Monstrum.
